  • I`m finally home from my two days in London on a work trip! Its great to get back on the forum to see what you crafty peeps have been up to and chat about crafts, when I told the girl I was on the course with that I made cards and jewellery she gave me a funny look, which annoyed me! lol!

I came home to find a nice little package waiting for me a lovely sheepy die and Do Crafts Creativity mag! I now need more things to add to my collection. X-cut have a butterfly dimensions punch and I`m thinking the butterflies would look so pretty cut from pastel glittery card with some pearl bead embellishments.
Also Anitas has a collection called glitterations out again my favs are the butterflies - they are so pretty!
I would also love some chalks to use with my embossed pages to add some depth to the backgrounds on my cards.

The magazine is worth the money at only £2 - this months comes with a set of free stamps, loads of ideas and templates on the back pages.

    Thankyou Melissa :)

Does anyone have any whiff of joy stamps? (I think that is what they are called?)

I love this one for some strange reason but trying to find one I can play with as I have never stamped before

She is a Whiff of Joy Stamp called Musing Melinda. I have her and a couple of other Whiff of Joy Stamps if you like I will stamp you some.

Welcome back Flourgirl, glad you had a great time :D

I've got the new copy of Creativity too Poppy, I really like the stamps, think they will be useful ;)

Rusty, that image is beautiful, I have never heard of those stamps but will have a look for you. Have you tried ebay...?

I've been having a play with some new Papermania papers (as seen in Creativity ;)) tonight. Results are on my blog... http://rainmacsplace.blogspot.com/. This one's my favourite...

I like the sort of regimented order of the circles stuck on the backing paper and then the stamping over the top of the untidy swirls.

That is so pretty Rainmac, as are the others on your blog. Did you make that crocheted flower yourself? My mum showed me how to make them once, but I haven't made them for years, might have another go. Never thought of putting them on cards.

Welcome to the new people on the thread.

Broady - I'm not a moneysaver when it comes to cards - currently awaiting 3 packages of stuff I have ordered this week, and hopefully they will come tomorrow on my day off so I can spend some of the day crafting.

Lei - what a fab exploding box for your boyfriend, I bet he will love it. I have a couple of them here, but have always put off using them as I never know how to design them, but yours looks so good, I might have a go.

Flourgirl - glad you had a good holiday.

Rainmac - great cards as always.

Saveapenny - hope everything has gone well for you at the hospital today, and that you are back on here very soon.

At last I have got a blog to keep up with you girls - http://ct19720.blogspot.com/. Its here and i've made a card tonight based on the CCC challenge, but won't be submitting it - just wanted to see if I could follow the sketch.

Is there a definitive list of other peoples blogs that I can follow without trawling through the whole of this thread.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
