Did anyone else order the Cardmaker's Yearbook which someone kindly posted the link to a few days ago?

My one arrived today and it looks super from what I can see, I'll enjoy browsing through it tonight when OH is watching footie

Flourgirl is the expert on these :D

I had a pokey tool but I found the holes were quite big so I used several strands of thread to make it look ok. I bought a smaller one after asking Flourgirl for some advice and broke it  I have pierced a design using a long pin but it was blooming hard work so I need to buy another thin tool ;)

Does anyone have some polka dot backing sheets that they can share with me please?

I'm looking for pink dots (a middleish colour between baby pink and fusha pink), and then black dots on the same colour pink). Also a mid purple colour on black and black dots on a mid purple colour.

Also is it possible to get the dots in the colours I am after and print them on to the appropriate card is black dots on the screen, and put in purple card to the printer, and purple dots on the screen, and put black card in the printer.

    Thanks
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Alee - when I got stuck on the log-in for craftyplace, I deleted just the yuku cookie (Tools/Options/View cookies - or something along those lines!), then just delete the one you want to. I then used a different email address to sign-up again and had no problems.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

What was the link for this? - I've had a look but seemed to have missed it. Is the offer still on? If so, I'd quite like a Cardmaker's Yearbook. Thanks.

Just wanted to remind everyone not to make any purchases until the weekend as there should be loads of offers on for National Scrapbooking day.

Someone asked the other day how I ink my edges. I use Colourbox cats eye inkpad queues. Starting with the lightest brown at a 45 degree angle around the edges. Then the darker brown at a less angle and finished with the dark brown just dragged quickly along the edges.

You can also use really dry old inkpads or use those makeup wedge sponges to apply ink to edges. HTH xx
