Just so you all know there is a Creativity TSV on 20th January on QVC worth over 80 pounds for 30!

I will post more details as I get them :)

Just looked at the tv guide and creativity life crafting is on at 1am and 7 am on Jan 20th so will be setting my sky plus nearer the time ( and very excited I am too!!)

    Hi Guy,

Hope it is ok to ask this here, but would this be hard to make. I have made cards before but I am not that experienced yet.

ZLS1984 - they're not hard to make at all. You can buy the kits to make them from ebay, I bought one, and all you do is pop all the die-cut bits out and stick it all together. Its a good place to start if you're nervous about doing one completely from scratch.

Thank Melissa75 will have a look on Ebay to see how much they cost.

I was thinking of doing one with out the layers, so it still is a box with photo's. Like this one http://www.docrafts.co.uk/community/gallery/item.aspx?item=2993850 but with photo's around the edges and a small birthday cake in the middle.

  • They're quite easy so long as you cut out all the bits and decorate them before you try to assemble it - I can never find enough ideas to cover all the sides :o.

there's a free template for a mini one here I found it when looking for scrapbook page templates. If you wanted to make it bigger you could just resize it and add more layers by changing the height of the sides.

    Thank you paddington,

When making the bigger ones, does each layer need to be a bit smaller, so you have a large Medium and small? Think I will try and make one although I dnt think my gran will be gratefull but it gives me something to do lol.

  • Yep - if you look closely at the do crafts one you posted the base square is smaller on each to make room for the embellishments so it still folds up properly.

Try playing about with some cheapy plain paper for sizes before you cut it out properly

    Hope that makes sense :o

Quick question has anyone bought craft supplies in the states?? I'm off to Florida in Feb and thought I might try and get some goodies whilst over there but i am not sure where they are and if there are any particularly good shops or if I should try and order online and have it delivered whilst I'm there??? Any ideas???
