I have a hand made with love stamp lol i got it the other day
And so far have made one card which doesnt look too great but its my first and I can only improve right (will just ignore the exceptional quality of some of the cards posted though)Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -
Furrypig - I would definately try and buy some stuff whilst you're over there, I've never been there myself so I can't recommend any good shops. I have bought from one online store, I think it was addictedtoscrapbooking. The stuff was so cheap from there, but the postage was a killer. If you're there long enough I would try and order from an online store, I've only looked at scrapbooking stuff, but the 12x12 scrapbook papers are really cheap, plus there's so much more choice.
Phunkles - I'm sure your card is fab - are you going to show us a picture? Some of the cards that I made when I first started were terrible, so I'm sure yours is better than mine were.0 -
Quick question has anyone bought craft supplies in the states?? I'm off to Florida in Feb and thought I might try and get some goodies whilst over there but i am not sure where they are and if there are any particularly good shops or if I should try and order online and have it delivered whilst I'm there??? Any ideas???
Yes I have as I think they have the best stuff. Can't help with shop names, I have a friend who lives is Massachusetts and she sends me bits over I ask for.
Have a great time, don't spend too much:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

finally got around to taking photo's of some cards that i have made- alas some have already been sent so no photo but here are a few!
first attempt at decoupage!
card for husband's cousin- don't really know him
for our neice
made from LMC bits need to add a greeting/ name yet
don't really like this one can't work out what is missing! for step niece
very proud of this one even made the actual card from scratch- well i folded it!
the last 3 i made on a training day at school 3 sessions for career 1 personal- i chose card making! i did find it difficult making cards with no person in mind and when i hadn't done the picking of paper/ toppers etc- i need to add some names/ greetings.
thanks for looking!!!0 -
Hi cg. I know what you mean about making cards with no-one specific in mind, I always find that tricky (which is why I always end up making them at the very last minute!). I do think that those are my favourite of yours though - I feel some 'borrowing' of ideas coming along
BTW, can you tell me how you manage to include photos in your post? All I ever manage is to display the link to minesome people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
After seeing your cards CG Im in awe!
Ive just spent another £20 on stuff I 'needed' hopefully I wont need anything for a very long time now though
