Just to let you all know, there is a spring cardmaking show on QVC today 2-4pm.

Spring usually means greens and yellows *sticks fingers down throat* but I got nothing better to do :p

    Morning all :D

I was very disappointed that I didn't have a chance to do rainmac's challenge, all the cards posted were so good. I ended up adopting another greyhound on Saturday (we only went to the kennels to get Squeak's nails cut!) so have been rather busy.

This morning I should have been doing coursework, but I knew I wouldn't be able to focus until I had a go at the challenge :o

    Here it is:

Talk about credit crunch cards - the brads and ribbon were bought at reduced prices, and all of the papers used are wallpaper samples :p
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Sunrise,Hels and Jailhouse you cards are wonderful
Sunrise I love your colours and your selling them so cheap you will have no problem selling them at all they are lovely
Hels its not plain or basic at all its lovely im sure your mom will love it
Jailhouse wow really credit crunch but it works, its lovley. I too take wallpaper samples when I take a trip to DIY stores hubby thinks im made

Violetta...print them out on normal copy paper then fold them so you have the wording in the right place then cut to size
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel

hels love the card simple and beautiful
jailhouse I think your card looks really classy

I have been a busy bee today as last night my bil called me to ask for 15 mothers day cards  .................

....oh and can about 7 of them have an irish theme   .......

...oh and can he pick them up tonight:eek:

So aswell as shopping and a trip to the hygenist, getting the kids to school potty training little one ,and cleaning the house have bben crafting my fingers off.

BTW i ordered some plain white decoupage paper from create and craft it came this am and its really good paper . I thought it would be cheaper than keep buying photopaper.

    Mumhug - 15 mother's day cards in a day - now that's a challenge - I think I would have thrown a fit!!
Jailhousebabe - fab card, I love those flowery brads, and the lettering looks great!!
Pinkladymel - thanks for the heads up, I might manage to watch it, but my
m-i-l is on her way around - my sister-in-law has upset her again so she wants to have a natter.
Hels - beautiful card - I think your sentiment looks cool - it looks like its been stuck to look like a garland.
Crazychatter - sounds like you had a lovely surprise!!
Marg/bunbun - I was really dubious about making a blog, but it was really straight forward, although mine is quite simple at the minute. I signed up for a google account and that lets me post comments on a blog. I don't think you need to follow a blog to post a comment. As I have a blog I have a blogger dashboard and that's saved to my favourites, if I click on it it tells me if there have been any updates to the blogs that I am following.

Marg/bunbun - here's where I sign in to view my blog and other people's. On the right hand side there's a link in blue to create your own google account. Hope this helps!!!
