Anyone out there watching QVC??? I love watching for ideas and there are lots of lovely things, I'm feeling in the mood for glitter now!!

i actually came across a craft shop today!! I was visiting a patient and had to drive about half an hour away somewhere I'd not been before and came across a garden centre with a craft shop!! Managed to buy a few more bits and they were talking to me about a card making class for £10 with someone called Debbi Moore. Anyone know who she is??? Meant to be well known!

Thank you Mel for setting the challenge not really sure what to do with tearing but will give it a go!!!

Jailhousebabe I love your credit crunch card and I would like to suggest this idea for the next challenge!! Such a good idea in the current financial climate! It would get us using other resources (like your wallpaper), bargain buys and maybe scraps of stuff that we would otherwise throw away!!

    Thanks for the idea!

Furrypig - great idea for the next challenge, I think I'd get stuck though - I am really bad for buying stuff!!! I haven't managed to watch qvc!! Sorry I've never heard of Debbi Moore.

Morning ladies, my comp won't let me follow links today but I'm sure your blogs are fab.

I just popped on quick to say that Flourgirl is a very naughty girl!! I got home last night to find a huge bag full of crafting goodies and beautiful cards! but no return address! I can't believe how kind you are on here, first Saveapenny taking time out to explain inserts to me and sending me emails of gorgeous papers and templates and now flourgirl spoiling me with papers, threads, embellishments, glitter......... I am a very spoilt happy girl today! thank you both so so much

I am a bit nervous with the tearing card idea but I'll have a go!

    Thanks for that flourgirl!

It was really wierd I clicked on the link and there is picture of several women one of whom I used to be really good friends with and she's actually my DD's godmother! Sadly she drifted away from us and never really aknowledged DD after the christening and initially i tried to keep in touch and invited her over etc etc Then in the end I wrote her a note wishing her all the best for the future, explaining that it was really hard as she didn't keep in touch with DD etc etc> Now I only see her on crafty websites and occasionally on a crafty tv show or mag!!!!

aww what a sad story :( {hugs} isn't it awful when you have made the effort to keep in touch with someone and they just don't seem interested

aww Furrypig!! *hugs* Crafting women are just horrible.. they get published in a mag and think they're superstars. That is why I love coming here and hanging about with kind and real people that get excited by each others work and encourage each others success.

Fab cards everyone that have been posted over the last couple of days. :T :T
Jailhousebabe - well done on doing your challenge card already - it is really good. I've tried today to make one but haven't had any luck with tearing the paper right so it doesn't look rubbish. May have to nick your idea on getting some wall paper samples to play about with and try again.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
