This isn't a card for the challenge but thought I'd share as I really liked making it as it was something new for me to do...
I used a stitching template from Papermania for the flowers and curved line down the right hand side and 2 threads of DMC embroidery thread to stitch. I cut along the curved line (not very well). I backed the inside of the card with a piece of brown scrapbooking paper, colour side down, and cut it to the size of the card so you can see a piece of the brown paper at the front - does that make sense? It's for the MIL, hope she likes it (probably won't but we can but try to be a good DIL
).
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

Gorgeous card Rainmac - I love the stitching!! I tried once but used this really thin thread and it looked really rubbish 'cos you couldn't see it, I'll have to have a go now with my dmc threads.0

I tried a bit of stitching on my square around card for my mum but used the cheap thread that came with the Papermania templates and it looked ok but this looks better I think:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
