s_michaels...they are lovley..my favourite is the top one...did you use a template or is that your own design?
Crazychatter...I sometimes make a small slit in the crease of the card and poke the ribbon through but be careful not to make the slit to wide or right on the crease
http://s333.photobucket.com/albums/m373/SaveaPenny/cards/?action=view&current=DSCF0037.jpg This one I made the slit a bit to big and right on the crease so you do see some of the card poking out
The other end I wrap under and is covered by an insert
Anothre way is to mount the ribbon onto a piece of card that is the exact width of the card then mount that were you want the ribbon..That way no edges show at all http://s333.photobucket.com/albums/m373/SaveaPenny/cards/?action=view&current=card1.jpg
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel

All of these cards for the challenge are just amazing, each one is just so beautiful, it's a fantastic challenge rainmac.
I'm a bit agog really. It was a bit of a challenge for me just to do a normal card shape being new to it. This is brilliant, I'm really enjoying looking at them all.
You all seem to have such an eye for colour too, does that come over time or have you always had it? I noticed that everyone picks colours that really go together and mixes and matches embellishments with them just perfectly.
I seem to be sorely lacking in this department.

Can I ask a quick question (I always seem to be!!) I have just received my mystery craft set from ideal world and it has some cards in it already printed up ready to embelish..on some of them there is a cut out bit on the front so a piece just comes away, but the piece is nice as it is...what do I do with these? do I use the piece that comes out inside the card so you can see it through the gap? or something else? I can't believe it is just thrown away as they have nice designs on...

I am sooo excited by the stuff I got, for £20 there is loads and ideal for a new crafter like me!!

Love all your cards..you are all just brilliant :T
