Orchid-96 those are aperture cards you can pop the middle bit out and hang things in the little window, or put acetate in the gap for a glass effect theres lots you can do. Or if you really like the bit to stay in the card just tape it on the back. You can always use the popped out shape on another card.
Tryinghard40 welcome to the thread can't wait to see some of your cards. Everone is really friendly. In Perfect love and Perfect Trust.0 -

Hello! Welcome to the thread, everyone is very friendly and helpful so if you have a question please ask! We do card challenges every 2 weeks and everyone can join in, latest one started on Monday and is to design a card using a non-tradional card shape (i.e. not a rectangle or square). If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

I am amazed at all of the fabulous cards this week for the challenge - and it only started on Monday, I've got to figure out what I'm going to do!! The standard is so high!!
Tryinghard40 - welcome to the thread!! Your cards are fabulous - my favourite one is the unicorn on the rainbow (I love unicorns).
Mumhug - great cards, my favourite is the tom and jerry one too - my son is a big fan.
Rainmac - how dare you - I didn't buy the sugared pack!!!!! (I already have it)
Soblivion - don't you dare criticise yourself. The stuff that you make is so inventive and original!!
S-michaels - two great cards, I love the colours on the flower one.
Crazychatter - using ribbon is always a problem for me too - it tends to fray. I normally use a large piece of paper/card that is just a bit smaller than my card blank and I tend to stick my ribbon onto that, fold some excess under that and then stick the whole thing to the card blank.0 -
Mumhug - I just found your other cards - they are gorgeous, I really like the flower pop up one, I think I might give that one a try for mother's day. The exploding box ones are fab too.
Debsy - well done on selling some cards. I sold 3 today for a pound each! It'll be six months before I sell any more.
Saveapenny - lovely entry too. I love the turqouise - a really relaxing colour.0 -
Flourgirl - glad you had a great weekend. I think hampers are such a fabulous gift - so thoughtful and personal.
Hels - really pretty cards. I am intrigued by the "thank you" one. Did you rip loads of paper up and stick it on - its a really striking effect?0
