Mumhug, beautiful cards - did you find the pop up card difficult to do? I looked at the link that dragonflew posted but thought it looked very complicated, but would love to have a go. Any tips making one gratefully received.
I struggled putting the pieces together the right way round so cut the template out in paper so that I could put it together and not ruin my card ones hth

CT - your card is really lovely. The tutorial for the pop up card was not very good so you really have to look at all the pieces and figure it out yourself. Mine isnt as good as Dragonflews if i did it again i would change the leaf shape.

Saveapenny- brilliant as always well done

  • I ignored the housework last night and made two more cards! lol!

Question- when you put ribbon across the front of your cards how do you secure the ends, one I've wrapped it all the way around and taped the ends together and the other I've just got an inch showing either side on the back. I can't decide which i think looks neater. Or is there another better way?

  • Thanks mumhug, do you you fold the ends under the brad too so it doesn't fray? I don't have any brads yet but maybe I should.

Sometimes I fold under but sometimes it looks nice if the ribbon does fray a bit depends on the card. I use brads alot for holding things they come in useful and look pretty.
