Afternoon Ladies:hello:
I havent been able to do any crafting for what seems like ages and im really missing it. I have 3 days a week off fri, sat and sun and this week i havent had a minute to myself. By the time i get home from work its 5ish and then theres the kids activities to take them to, the dog to walk and then tea after that. By the time all thats out of the way its dark and I cant be bothered to get out my crafting stuff. I have a Christening to go to on Sunday and ive only just started to make the card its not the usual shape either so it might do for this week challenge. Anyway enough of my moaning
Zoe - That card is lovely i bet your grandma loved it, and the card with the tags is so nice
Rainmac - the book card is a bit fiddly to fold but once you get the idea then its ok, it just takes a while assembling it and remembering to decorate the inside of the flap if you want to before sticking it down. Ive made 3 now and I love making them, the one i made for the 70th went down really well and was the talk of the party for a while.
Dragonlew - lovely cards
Cookiedough - Lovely card too
Rustyflange - you dark horse you what a impressive looking card its looks very professional.
Hels102 - what lovely cards well done

I am soo impressed by all your cards, what a talented lot! I have made a few small cards but they look nothing compared to yours..
I am addicted at the minute to create and craft on tv and am considering getting one of their value kits...there was a lovely embossing one today from The English Stamp Company....the thing is I have some papers and toppers and some card blanks (but only a6 at the minute) and I struggle for inspiration so am thinking a kit with everything and projects would be good....
I have just bought a few bits from glitterpot (some basic grey papers mainly) so thanks for the p&p tip...
will be back later to catch up properly, need to dry my hair whilst my twins are still asleep then go for ds from school....rush rush rush :rolleyes:Jun GC £250.00/£12.40 NSD 3 / 30

The Basic Grey stuff is beautiful isn't it. I ordered the Two Scoops 12x12 paper pack yesterday and is arrived this morning. So gorgeous, can't wait to open the pack tonight and have a play with them
You're right about 12x12 being more versatile cos you can use them for any sized project.

Hi ladies
Got back from my weekend away at DS2s in Plymouth, we had a fab time. The hampers I made for him and his new partner went down a treat, his partner couldn't believe I had made it for her and was chuffed to bits. The kids 15 12 10 and my GD 16 months were all pleased to see us.
Just caught up with the thread. Wow, there are some amazing cards and bags being made, you must all be very proud of yourselves. I love looking at other peoples crafts. I will have to get my thinking cap on as regards this times challenge, think it might be oput of my comfort zone.
Thank-you for the link for the glitterpot and about free p&p. I have just ordered some of the basic grey papers, 6x6 as they are more useful to me at the moment. They look so lovely, I Want them now!!0 -
