All of these cards for the challenge are just amazing, each one is just so beautiful, it's a fantastic challenge rainmac.
I'm a bit agog really. It was a bit of a challenge for me just to do a normal card shape being new to it. This is brilliant, I'm really enjoying looking at them all.
You all seem to have such an eye for colour too, does that come over time or have you always had it? I noticed that everyone picks colours that really go together and mixes and matches embellishments with them just perfectly.
I seem to be sorely lacking in this department.

Hubby reckons...all pastels go together no matter what colour
For darker things look at nature..lol
Im useless Im always asking him "does this go" Its handy have a watercolour artist in the house ( well hes an ARTIST!!! ;) )
Mumhug...im realy glad you could use it..they are lovely im sure your niece will be realy happy when shes sees that card
Ive never attempted a waterfall card , They always look complicated

    Rainmac..I used a template off here http://www.timeforcrafting.co.uk/exploding_prism.html

Tryinghard...welcome to our little corner of MSE ...your cards are lovley

Hi Marg, so glad you're having a great time.

Saveapenny - thanks for the template, saved to faves :D

Tryinghard - your cards are really lovely. Do you make to sell or make to give yourself?

Melissa - sorry I blamed you for buying all the paper :o;) Do you have any ideas for the challenge, I'm going to try something out tonight with chipboard shapes if I get the time (lots of ironing to do, that may have to wait, again  ).

My OH comes back from Dubai tomorrow :T, been away 2 weeks and the boys have missed him terribly, as have I if truth be told ;)
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

I am no good at matching ... I tend to shout at OH and make him tell me if they go together :(

Well I've spent all afternoon catching up with the washing and ironing, didn't think it would end. Still all done and put away, also made 2 shepherds pies for DS1 and made roast lamb dinner.

I made 2 flannel muffins for 2 gift packs which are now wrapped and the cards written, just need to deliver them to SIL for birthdays at the end of the month. Just 1 more hamper for this month for my DIL, thinking of doing a gardening one.

I have been looking at the link for the book card, to the ladies who have already made one, did you make it from paper or card?
I have just had an email from the glitter pot to say my basic grey papers have been dispatched, I was thinking about making one from them.

Rainmac glad your hubbies coming home, 2 weeks is a long time especially for the kids.

Tryinghard welcome. Your cards are really lovely, they look so professional. Do you sell them?

Debsy - well done on selling some cards. I sold 3 today for a pound each! It'll be six months before I sell any more.

managed to sell seven out of eleven so not done too bad, guess i will be off to the range at the weekend to get more supplies even though my bedroom is starting to resemble a mini factory:rotfl:

Debsy Well done for selling your cards, it's a great feeling when someone actually gives you money for something you have made.:T

Mmmm a mini factory... My craft room resembles something more like a council tip :rotfl: I do tidy it up now and then and put everything back in it's place, but that somehow creates a space, which is great, more room to work. But then I think mmmm I feel a trip to the range coming on:confused:

I found this in a magazine a few years ago. I don't know who wrote it so can't give them the credit. I hope it's ok to post it on here. Could this have been written for you?

    The Crafterholic’s Prayer

    Dear Lord
I’m going to need some notice
    Before my day is done.
    You see, I’m a crafterholic.
A fact not known to some.
My craft room, it is bulging
    All corners, crannies and nooks
There’s loads of boxes under the bed,
I hope no one ever looks.
    I tell myself when shopping,
    “No more craft bits today”
But craft shops are like magnets
    Drawing me their way.
    I’m totally at their mercy
Just “need” a dozen of each.
Then hurry home to hide them
Before the family start to preach.
So Lord, I’ll need a little time
To dispose of all this stuff.
And Lord, can we keep this
    Between the two of us.
