Hello - It was lovely to see all your photos, snowmen, angels, gardens & cats & I'm jealous the we have only frost, a bit of snow that's gone now, & thick rain but glad that I wont have the slush that follows...... I fall @ the drop of a hat even without ice. (or alcohol)!

    Have snipped you ... sorry

You must be local to me then :rotfl: we had awful rain last night there is now no sign of the snow at all! like you say glad we will also have no slush.

Thanks Melissa for this weeks challenge I need to get my thinking cap on and try to put something into place, I really need to make more of an effort as I sometimes struggle with cards and today would be the ideal opportunity as OH has gone to work with a friend today :j which means a little money and he is out from under my feet ... BunBun watch out for my OH as he is out cleaning bins near you :D

The schools are still shut here and while it snowed overnight there is no snow falling this morning. They have said that it is going to freeze so any snow that has melted will turn to ice and the rest will not melt.

So my plans today is to get my dd to make a valentines card, it will keep her happy for a while. I think someone is coming to play with her in the snow so that I can clean too.

It snowed a bit here last night and it was settling, but this morning its all turned to sludge.

Furrypig - hope you have a fantastic time.

Marg - I'm like you I'm really clumsy, so I get really scared when I see ice on the streets.

Abusybee - welcome back, fab card - I love the rocket!

Gangstabird - how fabulous - finding stuff you didn't realise that you had. Beautiful card - the mushrooms are so cute. Have you decided to hold onto your stuff?
  • Hmm, I want to go to Papermill now! oh I'm such a copycat, I know! but can't decide whether to wait til I visit family and stop off at the swindon one on the way or go down to clarks village and pretend to the OH that we are going for a day out and just pop into the shop once we are close (devious eh?!). Anyone know if there is there anything nice to see or do in Wells or Glastonbury?

furrypig, fab card love all the pinks, hope you’re not here to read this - in the nicest possible way of course.
Gangstabird I love the little figures and the flowers.
abusybee your card is lovely, I really like the space theme.

Just wanted to share these for hubbies birthday. I enjoyed making these ones. Thanks to saveapenny again for posting links. Wanted to use some birthday peeloffs for these but nothing doing in this part of the woods so had to use computer instead.

soblivion - er, why did you think you couldn't make cards?! They're brilliant. No excuses now, you'll have to add card-making to your other crafts :p

    soblivion - brilliant cards - :T

Can't believe its taken me all morning to make two easter cards -so simple once I'd stopped dithering about what to put where.

I used a bit of freebie fabric sample, piccy of decorated choccy egg I cut out from last years sunday supplement and cut an egg cup shape from some freeie leather samples.........so really all they are is choccy eggs in an egg cup.............two down............six more too go:rotfl:

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !
