Hi all!!
Guess where I'm typing from??? Yep I made it!!!
I am in my lovely villa in Orlando! It's actually not that warm here but I don'y have 6 - 8 inches of snow outside!! I actually have a pool and it's lakeside but can't really appreciate it as arrived in the dark! Now v tired so off to bed xxx
PS thanks all for good wishes/prayers/spells and chants etc... they worked!!
Also lots of lovely cards... is it not valentines day cards did I get it wrong in my hurry??0 -
furry - glad you made it okay; happy scouting for crafting gear
zoe - can't recommend any pens. I know a lot of people have mentioned Whispers, but they're too expensive for me atm. The only stamping I've done so far was with inks on offer in hobbycraft for 99p each and coloured in with some nice sparkly gel pens.
saveapenny - I like it! I love the effects on the pink papers, I don't know what you call it? Is it still embossing if you don't put powder on & heat it?I'd love to be able to do something similar, but can't really afford to buy anything else for a while!
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
furrypig - great card. Don't spend too much! Glad you made it safely.
soblivion - Fab cards. The rugby one is my favorite one.
ct - Love the football card and those sticker letters are brilliant

Saveapenny - 2 lovely cards - the fairy does look like she has been up to something. is she a stamp? I need to buy some stamped images to have a go a colouring them in with my new whisper pens, or treat myself to some stamps.
Hopefully I might get chance to make this weeks challenge soon, I need to finish that book card off and then i can set to work on it.0 -
Saveapenny - Fabulous - thank you very much - burning the 2am oil I see - thought it was just me who did that!
Furry pig - Glad you arrived safely - thanks for letting us know.
ZLS1984 - sorry no idea about pens never used any....0 -
Hi, I made 8cards last night for the box I want to make for my aunt and nan, quite plain but think they look ok, I'll post a few soon to get your opinions. Bit worried that they will not fit in the standard letter width so may have to tone down the layering and gems on the next batch.
On a less productive note I got cross and gave up with my OHs valentine card again last night! I've made five attempts so far and have hated them all! I will try again tomorrow with a completely new design so wish me luck!0 -
furrypig, so glad you made it:j
saveapenny what a clever find that wordle is thank you, it made your Arsenal? (sorry I don't have a clue) card look fantastic.
I love the fairy card, I like the way you placed the papers and it's soft and feminine <- I haven't explained that well but I know what I mean. LOL0 -
A little request -
Does anyone on here have any stamps that they would kindly stamp some images onto paper for me, i would really like to have a go at colouring in but am a bit hessitant to buy a stamp as they cam be quite a bit pricey. I would reimburse any costs for the images and postage or even send some stash in payment. I know that you can buy them stamped from ebay but to be honest paying £2 for delivery seems pretty expensive to me, for what would be a stamped piece of paper. I hope you dont find me being cheeky and if i offend anyone please accept my apologies but maybe some one out there might be able to help me..

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !
