As above. I got the £100 incentive appearing in the account today - about 5 weeks after the third £1000 monthly credit. Like BLF, even before months two and three, however, I transferred payments into Nationwide 'a/c no.2' in January in the hope of their £75 incentive payment (due in June) Meanwhile, Nationwide 'a/c no.1' is being transferred into newly opened HSBC currrent account for £40...

The main point however is that as soon as you meet the conditions of any offer you don't have to hang around as the incentive will then become payable. (But do remember to leave the account open just long enough!)

Got the cash! I was very surprised to see £100 incentive sitting in my account today. Only 20 days after I made the third salary payment into my account. I won't be sticking with them however, no faster payment service, overseas call centres, depressing branches and a very annoying website.

I made my last qualifying £1000+ deposit on 16th April but haven't received the £100 yet.

How long do Abbey have to deposit it? Anybody experienced problems getting it?
  • Within 60 days of your third £1k deposit.

Does it matter that it might have been several deposits over a month to equal the £1000+?

I just wondered whether it had to be a single deposit or whether it was the overall total of what had been paid into the account over the month?

Hi - I received my £100 today. I had switched direct debits, but not my salary. Had simply put in 3 lots (ie over 3 months) of £1000 (my salary is not actually coming out net at £1000, although the basic salary did meet their requirements). My 3rd £1000 went in on 9th April.

So, it did not need to be salary going in, and had no problem with money going out of the account. Sorry, JLanky81, can't specifically answer your question.

fairly sure its total not single, some common folk still get paid weekly :p
  • It does not need to be 1k all in one go. As long as 1k in total paid in per month that is fine.

I went into an Abbey branch today because I've still not received the £100 cashback reward despite depositing the required £1,000+ over more then 3 months now. My wage and direct debits were all switched from my old bank account so I didn't think there would be a problem.

The member of staff I spoke to in the branch claimed Abbey had never offered this offer. I produced a copy of the print out from their website I'd made back in December and she said she still wasn't sure about it. She's apparently emailed Account Servicing with regard my enquiry because there was no one in the branch she could consult with

Not sure how else to move forward with this or how long I should leave this before taking further action.... felt like I'd made the whole thing up!!!
