Only three???
I dreamt I was abandoned on a lump of ice in the middle of a vast ocean“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Is the FSCS being over cautious and not allowing enough people to access the website at any one time? I ask because I log on to my account once a day to check and no matter what time of day I do it I have no trouble at all in fact it's really quick, one would imagine that with all those people logging in to get their cash plus others just checking it would be a lot slower to work?
Perhaps this would explain the (reported) 10,000 per week figure ATM?0 -

Ahhh but I didn't have either last night“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
I assumed that there were 10,000 2nd "E Mails" going out each day, weekends included. it appears to me that there are ony 10. Why not issue only one "E Mail"? informing us that "You can now access your account and make a transfer" Why all this unnessary performance when everything is in place to activate your account and initiate the transfer? Why has there been no further information on how this fiasco is been dealt with?
It appears to me that all fixed term account holders will be dealt with last (I may be wrong) in the hope that they may forego any interest due up to maturity by panicking to withdraw their funds, thus the goverment then will pocket the due interest up to maturity?? ( I have three fixed rate accounts) and can't wait to get my money out.
I am greatful that there is a glimmer of hope that we will get our money back, but bear in mind that we did not place our hard earned savings on the favourite in the 2.30, but on a guarantee that our money, up to 35K was protected by Icelandic Passport scheme under E.U umbrella and also by the F.S.C.A in the U.K. Had I known any different then I would not have entrusted my money to a E.U country outside the U.K, are depositors with Anglo Irish Banks, and ING going to suffer the same fate if anything goes amiss in the future?
Ireland and Holland are no larger than Iceland?0
