Where does 10 come from? originally we were all under the impression that it was 10,000 per day, the Sunday Mail said it was 10,000 per week, if it's the later then it could take until March to pay us all!

Why all this unnessary performance when everything is in place to activate your account and initiate the transfer? Why has there been no further information on how this fiasco is been dealt with?

If they gave all 220,000 account holders permission to log on many would do so at the same time and crash the system, I think they are being a little over cautious though and as it stands many people are at a distinct disadvantage under their 'lottery' system.

No some people who have had 2nd emails have had Fixed accounts.

I completely believe that just 10,000 have been sent out. They are likely to send fewer at the start and increase the number each day, so they can reduce complaints and fix problems. Don't be suprised if they are sending 30,000 per day before the end of the month.

It would be useful, don't you all agree, if the FSCS were to give us some idea of how many they are sending in a day. Perhaps they will include this info in the 2nd email update they are proposing to post tomorrow. Or will it just be the usual "the vast majority of savers will receive compensation by the end of november" guff?

I think it wil be the usual guff, they seem to update there website and tell very little if anything new at each update!!
