this has pretty much already been said by others, but i think the large numbers that have been able to claim today, this will be repeated tomorrow.

i did my claim earlier today without getting my 2nd email (the email did actually appear after 5pm). my cleared balance was dated 24.11.08.

i've just checked OH's a/c & his is showing cleared balance at 25.11.08.

from what's happened today, i think i'll be able to claim on that a/c tomorrow.

based on the latest email from FSCS, it really does seem like an @rse & elbow type of operation! not a carefully managed plan like they lead & wanted us to believe...
