TBH I wish I had not started this thread now, I only did so for the number amongst us who are feeling depressed about not getting our 2nd emails, I thought it might give some solace to people to share their experiences with others with the same feelings, however it has been gate-crashed by a few people who seem to take great delight at knocking people when they are 'down' sometimes being quite abusive.
OK you have got your cash but can you not just understand one tiny bit at how others are feeling and please try to have a little compassion towards people here who have not?
Nilrem, I think a lot of us are feeling the strain and I know I am refreshing my emails hundreds of times a day:o0 -

I think quite a few of us know what you are going through at the moment!

Lol Would you also like to make appointments with the doctor for the next 3 weeks just in case? :rotfl:
That might not be a bad idea knowing how difficult it can be to get an appt when you need one“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

Yes I agree and it is good to share our experiences it sort of takes our minds of the waiting just a little.
If I am honest I am finding the waiting for this 2nd email that never seems to arrive the most nerve racking part that I have experienced since the whole Icesave fiasco started, it is an odd feeling, I try to forget about it but my mind is only on one thing!0 -

I reckon you should make an appointment for Mon 17th, another on the 21st and perhaps one on the following Monday 24th Nov but them perhaps also the 4th Dec just to be on the safe side, perhaps we can make a joint appointment!:rotfl:0 -
You are too kind, I am overwhelmed by your comment TBH, thank you so much.
I started this thread purely for people who had not received their emails to get together hoping that it might bring comfort to them knowing that they were not alone, I did not expect the amount of vitriol posted by a few people who had received their money, I am shocked at the unkindness shown by them TBH.
Don't forget a bit of vitroil from some of us who haven't had our money!!
Since we are talking about being shocked, I'm shocked by some of the people that have got a seemingly big problem with the process and the FSCS in general with no regard whatsoever for what the alternative could have been.
As someone mentioned above, in the gut churning days of early October if someone had offered "money back in full at the end of November with the click of a mouse" we would have jumped at it. Well most of us would. There are those that would immediately have started whining about lost interest and what was wrong with the process etc etc...
Here's hoping as many of us as possible get paid as soon as possible.0 -

No second email for me and I currently have the grand total of £200 to my name outside of Iceland! So it's fingers crossed that my tyres remain legal!
I'm very pleased for those who have already got their money and I'm very pleased that I know that I WILL get mine back, it's just a case of when and as their longstop date for emails is 4th December I'm hopeful that I'll have my money by then.
I'd love to have my money back now but envy is a poor quality to possess in my opinion.Piglet

That is hard luck indeed, your need is indeed greater than mine, I feel for you.0 -

Thanks, I don't have much more inside Icelandbut at least I know it's coming back and thank God I've got no debts to be serviced using the money.
