......... I really don't want this to sound patronising, but what a sensible post this is. Every indicator so far points to showing that the improved FSCS deal is on track. Really folks, just consider what we (various stages of 'we') have now against the nightmare scenario of what could have been

Agreed. But I feel like a kid on Christmas eve. The expectation is so great, you can't sleep properly. You keep checking the sock (or in this case the inbox) in case "he's been". You know what presents you're going to get but that certainty doesn't lessen the excitement. Eventually you doze off. Next morning you wake. Sock still empty. No presents under the tree. You look outside the kids next door are riding their brand new bikes.

    Christmas stinks! :D

Trust me... we're all on the same side, no matter how fiercely you seem to want to disprove that.

I don't wish to disprove it I want us all on the same side, but it is quite difficult to understand when a poster who has got his money says to me "shut up", calls me a low life and describes me as a (quote) ungrateful, greedy *******s

Of course I don't expect people to agree with my views but common courtesy costs nothing, I am happy for anyone to sort through all the posts that I have made and they will find no insults or abuse given out by me however I am provoked :)
  • Think yourselves lucky it's just the second email you haven't received. I used my last few English quid to change my name by deed poll to 'Aardvark' to try and usurp you all in the queue. A fat lot of good that did, and now I'm stuck with this bloody ridiculous name to boot!

I don't think it's money wasted. Aardvark Toboot's got a nice ring to it. ;)

"Fist full of dollars?" Sorry couldn't resist continuing the movie theme. :D

Well at least we're not talking of "The Sting" - and we are all likely to have experienced "The Great Escape"..... :rotfl:

Still waiting with patience....good luck all and well done those who have 'completed'; "you're in the money!!!"....

Well, I hope I correctly predicted that my email will arrive today as I can't afford to spend yet another day glued to my PC. My poor house is feeling rather neglected and I'd be slightly embarrassed if any visitors should turn up unannounced :o
