Hello from someone else who received first e-mail on the 4th at 19.41 but have seen nothing since. Great help to have this thread for support - and to see familiar names from our previous KE adventure together.
Feel sure our money will come through and, like others, grateful for 'rescue' but the waiting aint easy and it would be marvellous to draw the line.
Never mind, perhaps a valium sandwich for lunch?0 -
still nothing. I don't think I've ever logged on to my e-mails quite so often per day; you don't think I've worn it out do you? On second thoughts, no, but I really wish Thompson and Morgan wouldn't keep sending me quite so many messages, offering me Christmas bulbs or seeds for next year.
I have mine set to check every 5mins and a little bubble pops up in the system tray when an email arrives but of course it's never the 'real deal'0 -

Glad you are on-board Rachel, I think I will take you up on the sandwich offer! :eek:0 -
...can anyone explain how the capacity of these bank/fscs sites are set up? ie they say the site can't cope with full capacity (200,000 account holdrs) logging on at once. So at what level is capacity allowed before it falls down? 50,000, 10,000,........................1?0

Not sure but it stood up pretty well on the night before it crashed when many 1000's were logging in, I think we have to remember is that if they send out 10k emails per day a fair proportion of these people will be out or at work so won't be able to log on until tonight yet probably at this moment it's quiet and there are 1000's of us who could log on now but can't!0 -

ICESAVERS' LAW: the probability of receiving 2nd email is inversely proportional to the frequency of checking....0 -
I don't wish to disprove it I want us all on the same side, but it is quite difficult to understand when a poster who has got his money says to me "shut up", calls me a low life and describes me as a (quote) ungrateful, greedy *******s
Nilrem, I hope this isn't going to be the straw that breaks the camel's back,
but our profanity pal has today announced his funds have cleared.

I just did this :EasterBun and now I feel sick _pale_“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0
