I wrap mine in cellophane. I know a number of other people do too. You can get cello on ebay (as you have mentioned), amazon, from a florist and sometimes lidl sell it too. I have bought mine from ebay as I have found that to be the cheapest and easiest to find.Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...

Will have a better mooch round town when hubby isn't with me. I bought my 'pots' today. Some Christmas plastic tumblers in poundland-set of four, and had three different designs(father Christmas/penguin/reindeer). At least now I have an idea of size. Finding things small enough to fit inside is part of the fun. Oooh, I have an idea for the girls-does anyone know if they make Christmas nail files? If not, I could buy sparkly ones.
Can't say I have seen any Christmassy ones :cool:Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...

Not being 'in the know' and not the least crafty but this seems cheap enough?

I really fancy doing pots of gold for our Christmas lunch table settings. Any suggestions where I may find gold pots ?
Thanks0 -
I did Pots of Gold a few years ago after reading about it on here and I thought they looked really good, I put chocolates, scratch cards, £5 in coins, gold coins and a rainbow candy cane I each I found somewhere but now can't remember.
Christmas day came and everyone apart from my OH just took the money and the cards out and threw the rest to the side so I haven't bothered making any since. I like the idea of the table settings though, I shouldn't bother but I still do.:heart2: Current Reading Book: [STRIKE]Avengers Angel by Heather Killough-Walden[/STRIKE](on hold) The Good, The Bad, and the Undead - Kim Harrison

most supermarkets are selling off their small halloween plastic cauldrons. I've used these before and spray painted them in gold. Or use a small glass tumbler and line with gold tissue paper.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. I used last year christmas paper cups from a pack in poundland.
Doing the same again this year but will put a gold napkin to give it more colour.
I made these for my work mates (only 4 in my team) and i put small alcoholic drink in it.0 -
