Christmas day came and everyone apart from my OH just took the money and the cards out and threw the rest to the side so I haven't bothered making any since. I like the idea of the table settings though, I shouldn't bother but I still do.
That's shocking! Some people shouldn't be allowed to receive gifts. At least your OH appreciated the effort you went to, but everyone else was very rude. They sounded fab, and I would have been chuffed to bits to receive one - especially the rainbow candy cane - you can't keep me away from the shops selling sticks of rock at the seaside!0 -
In Home Bargains they had votive candle holders in different colours including gold for 69p, they were about 2/3 the height of a hi ball glass but wider. Perfect for pots of gold!'They only had one cow!'0

In Wilkinsons I got a pack of 10 plastic pint glasses £1, got 3m gold ribbon to put round the top £1.00, will fill with fererro rocher, gold teddy bears, gold coins, werthers, and some mini twix which were 99p in Home Bargains. Will cover them all in cello wrap.
They had some party sets in Home Bargains for £1.99 which contained about 6 white paper cups with gold patterns on them with white and gold napkins, may be useful for something.0 -
I've eventually found some on amazon so they're ordered now. Got most of the contents so will see how they look when filled. I've put a small gift in for each, got all the females sorted but my the males are a bit more problematic. I've got all the women key rings which say things like love, hope etc. any ideas for men?2015 £2 Saver #82
