Really cheap food...however

Hi recieved my first delivery today wasnt in so kind neighbour took my parcel in for it.The box was very battered and a couple of my bottles were broken but all in all very pleased with what i recieved.Bit of a query my order came to over £60 ,had email saying christmas puuding was out of stock and i would be refunded £1.When my box has came i have been charged £26 but only half my things are there.Do you think i will have the rest sent in another box that may be arriving tomorrow.Hoping so.

I placed my order at the end of last week and received it on Monday all present and correct (only 1 thing missing/out of stock) and that was refunded imeadiately.

However I had ordered the Douwe Egberts Instant Mocha and been refunded already as it was out of stock, but it's been on the site since last week, just wondering is it out of stock or not? (Guess I should have asked yesterday before placing my second order)!

just a quick q from people who have all ready had there orders etc. I went on google checkout and it said payment was taken on the 2nd for my items, it was the full amount so will that mean everything i ordered is in stock or will they just refund if they dont have any in stock??? Also how long after payment do they normaly take to send it to me??

just received a wmail saying somethings have been refunded, the stuffing and crisps ! the main things i was looking forward to............hopefully the rest of the order will make it still worth while....

Hi all the MSE's

The growth from the MSE forum has been amazing, it really was an over night success when Twise posted our site on here. Trade increases every day but I have reached a point where I have to change something you’re not going to like in the short term.

When I first posted a 5% discount we were using all our own boxes and the packaging cost amounted to very little. We have switched from Fastway to DHL because DHL were cheaper and fastway could not handle the amount of parcels we were sending with there small pick up van.

DHL seem great but they are a lot rougher than fastway. Basically our box’s that we have in house are not strong enough for the job and we have had to go out and buy something suitable for the job. It’s something I never planned to buy but is needed if we are to continue trading.

What I’m going to do is remove the 5% discount code for now to help pay for the boxes and start posting special offer codes on the forum that are product related.

I know its not good news but I’m trying to sell these goods as cheap as I can. It was either put up postage or increase prices across the board, removing the 5% discount means I don’t have to do either.

I’m trying to do best and know it will ruffle some feathers but it’s some thing I have to do

Seems fair enough , 5% isnt a vast discount anyway , im sure most people will agree.

Sounds like a good idea as think you could do with a stronger box so things dont become broken in transit.I even thought if you bought the big strong boxes i would be willing to pay a extra pound knowing my order would arrive safely.my second box hasnt arrived yet,hopefully it will make a safe journey to me lol.Keep up the good work we were all very excited yesterday opening our box and trying things out.The j20 in plastic bottles are great as can put them in the kids packed lunch.Plus just had the satay kit with chicken for tea and it was beautiful.Thanks you so much we can now have more treats this way and eat well.
