Sorry if this has been asked already, but do they have a weekly change over day for offers or is it updated all the time?
  • Errrrrm.

I was charged £1 for ONE BOX of stuffing. On the website it says £1 for FOUR BOXES.

    Where's the confusion ?
I've had a similar problem with the twinings tea :(
I ordered what I thought was two cases because it charged me the case price of a quid each but only got two boxes.
There wasn't a option to buy individually either just 6 for £1.00

And one of the sensation crisp bags had split at both ends. I've emailed, see what happens I guess....
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

  • So pleased with my stuff which arived today. My only problem is storage !!! but the stuff which I ordered in bulk, like the seaweed, I am flogging on to friends. Best buy so far- the burnt sugar fudge, which the observer food monthly acclaims as 'the best fudge in the world'. At 50p a pack it is amazing- it is so sugary it won't go off- I am putting some in with Christmas presents for others in the family who won't let a date stamp put them off- if it lasts that long. Also think the dried milk is good value- I use it in making yoghurt so get through quite a lot.
On the plum loaf issue, whilst I am sure the loaves could be a bit softer, when I have had these from stores they are harder than regular malt loaf. They are nice- had a slice. Maybe there is some luck involved. The bread and butter pudding is a good idea. I think things are added as they come in, rather than weekly- ordered another box yesterday with sardines that look nice- Aldi I think.
Lunch today- tomato soup and seaweed. My son is on a non pupil day and thinks its brilliant...

My parcel has arrived and I am as pleased as Punch with it!

Whoever processed my order is a very nice order processorer lol, as I ordered "1" peanut butter instead of 8, and I have my case of 8 jars, so they've obviously taken pity on the doofas customer and worked out that I'd got it wrong.

Disappointed not to get the stuffing mix or the Mini Cheddars, (and *gutted* that I didn't know about the site before the creme eggs sold out :rotfl::rotfl:) but cannot complain about ANY part of my shopping experience with Approved Foods. I will definitely be returning.

Oh - and I ordered one packet of HobNobs which were priced at £0.00 and I have got three packets, AND they're all well within date. AND I used the first order voucher and got another £1 off my order.

Thank you to the OP for sharing the site with us, and thank you to AF for being . . . . well, brilliant, really!
  • most excited :j :j

just placed second order!!!! lets hope that you guys have left some tea and coffee for me :rotfl:

just over £30 inc shipping and should have loads of goodies for x-mas (as long as we don't eat them before) :D

i ordered more plum loaves as oh loves them and thinking about it even if the second lot are not as good then i can make bread and butter pudding and it will still be relatively cheap as i will not have to add any dried fruit!

also, if dan is using dhl i know where my nearest depot is so if i miss the delivery i could collect it :T
it's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:

has anyone who ordered the coffee syrups noticed that the only 1 that is infact for coffee is the gingerbread? i'm quite annoyed as i've waited 2 weeks for my flipping order to find that 1 out of the 5 ordered is only for coffee when they were all advertised as coffee syrups.
i will be emailing dan as i'm so p***ed off, especially after being mucked about for so long
It only seems kinky the first time.. :A
