    Received my first order today.

    Avoid :
Honey pots. Mine had mould actively growing in them. Binned.

Hiya, can I ask what kind of mould ie, black, green, white and was it on the honey surface or the lid?

    Thanks

There isn't mold on the honey its just starting to crystallize. Honeys one of those things that never spoils. 1 min in the micro and it's gone - its just sugar

I thought it best to post some thing here on MSE about some trouble we have had today. We have moved to a new courier this week and there first pickup was wednesday.

The problem has been that the banding machine that fixes a number of small boxes together has been faulty from monday to lastnight. Unfortunalty some parcels have been breaking up at the DHL depots. Its been a complete nightmare!

I have an excellent DHL manager who is sorting everthing out for us and taking everthing to its rightfull home.

I promise I will sort everything out. Email me or call on 07881621603 if you have any problems

    Thanks Dan
    Thanks again dan.
Hopefully i will recieve my other bits soon.
Once again your customer service is the best i have come across.
Also thanks for keeping us updated on the M S E.
    Regards Wookie.

He's got a point- unless there has been anything put in (in which case you would've noticed the seals were broken) then it's probably just got cold. :)
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

  • Is it me or are there quite a few people whining on here, if you don't like stuff a little past its bb date or want top quality don't buy it in the first place. If people are going to bin it thats awfull could have been passed onto someone else who can't afford food right now. I also bought the plum loafs nothing wrong with them at all and will happily eat the other 8. It is quite clearly sold as past its bb date so i don't quite get the point in posting about how people threw it out etc
I will be using the site again, pot noodles were a bargain not to mention my stash of cream eggs.

:T:T:T:T:T:T:T Well said hunny, I am loving this site as I am struggling and it means that I can afford some food. My only complaint was some order missing and Dan is looking into it for me so excellent customer service.

See that's what I thought as I had read about honey being one of the only food stuffs that doesn't spoil (it even has antibacterial properties) but I didn't want to come out and say it directly and accuse the poster of being a liar (or ill informed). :embarasse:whistle:

What can I say but, What excellent customer service.
Was informed at every point of order.
Dan rang me when his wife had mucked my delivery address up, even though the order still arrived on time.
The order was on time, well packaged and the customer service was 2nd to none.:T

Can I add about the honey my dd loves the stuff and I bought some from Aldi. When it came to opening it, it had the white stuff on top, all I did was open up the tub take the white stuff out and it was fine no problems with it. I made sure with my DD if it taste alright and she said yeah mummy like hunny. (Can you tell she is 5 going on 35 lol)
