    Hi folks

Just a quick note to say I'm sure I saw this on the thread where companies were advertising and offering discounts. I can't remember what the discount was but it might be worth searching the forums first before ordering anything from them.

  • oops - me too

just had to buy some things "to have a go"

You do have to be careful though that you are actually buying things that will save you money and not just because it looks like an offer you shouldn't miss!

I'm lucky there's a shop not too far from me that sells this sort of stuff, it's always very busy and you can pick up some great bargains.

  • Just ordered some of the gingerbread syrup, paid £15 for a bottle of this 2 weeks ago with delivery and a pump. So thought i'd grab a couple more at this bargain price, especially with a good expiry date. Hopefully will have some left for next xmas too.
I use it for gingerbread lattes and also want to try a cocktail from the nigella lawson book. Also thought about adding some to whipped cream to serve with mince pies.
    Great find, OP, thanks

    Tru-Free Gluten/Wheat Free Custard Creams - 25p a box!!!

That's amazing. OH has coeliac's and gluten free snacks are so damn expensive. Ordered 6 boxes and some other bits. As others have said, just use common sense. Tinned/jarred/dry stuff that's a few months past best before will be fine. Also anything where you'll be able to tell if it's been opened.

    5% discount code MSE1 works too. :D
