  • some good ideas.

Might be helpful if dan is unsure whether buyers will like the product or not - just ask people on here - surely that will give him some sort of indicator if people would want it or not? And whether to go ahead with purchasing stock?

Lol with the amount of pages on this thread he'd need to employ someone just to trawl through the comments.

Would be helpful for some specialty items and items such as diabetic, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc food to see if people seem interested and to field questions, but cold hard numbers are usually more useful if your money is on the line :D

One thing I would like to see on the website, is a list of ingredients, and possibly nutritional information. I am a vegetarian, I know a diabetic and my mother has wheat intolerance, so that information would be a godsend to me and several others, and for those with nut allergies a lifesaver. Now I know that legally you couldn't label something as vegan or wheat free from the replies on here, no matter how expert someone seems, so you can only put it on the website as suitable for vegetarian etc if it says it on the packet.

Listing the ingredients would allow those with allergies and the plain old cranks like myself to judge for themselves, as mostly they will not buy something they are not sure of.

I know it would be a chore to list all those long words and lists of E-numbers, but for most items you can probably find a link to a site that has them listed for the item, and for others, well it only has to be done once thank god. You could also take a picture of the label, which if sufficiently readable would save the typists fingers.
  • Think that would take alot of time too do, and the amount of different products they have all the time - i wouldnt see it worth while?

Surely its easier just to look the product up on the internet or on one of the supermarkets websites e.g: tescos or asda?

tricki1 - why not just google the product or go to the products website - usually all nutritional info is there. It's what I've done!

The products Approved Food sells come and go - and may never be stocked again - so they'd have to employ someone with excellent keyboard skills to input all the nutritional info for a product that might not last a week? Uneconomical I'd say.

My Mars bars I ordered metamorphosed into Snickers:rotfl:
Good job I don't have nut allergy lol

No matter though they are just as nice,
  • Dont know if it would be better to be asked if you wanted a subsitute rather than just being given it. (incase like above people have alergies or dont like the other item (hence not ordering it in the first place)??? Just a thought - be nice to have the option, substitute or money back.

I see there is a stand of chewing gum now up - loooks good. More new products - woop woop

Gosh you never know whats coming in next, i'll be making an order every week at this rate. :rotfl::rotfl:
