For convenience (my own) I have sectioned them into LEFT - nice sweets and RIGHT - unpleasant ones. The Yorkie should have been in the middle but I forgot. See how they twinkle

oooo...that's exactly how I would have divided them up as well!!! :j

Notice how all the nice ones are lovely bright colours? Once my tin only has all those dark, depresing coloured ones left, I fob them off on me brother, hehe.

  • We purchased a tin of Quality Street and my husband always sorts through to put our favourites (caramel swirls & green triangles) near the top of the tin, only to find that there were no caramel swirls and only 3 green triangles. He too phoned Nestle Customer service, and discussed with them that on their selection sheet it asks What's your favourite? Well that's pretty useless when they don't include your favourite! They have kindly sent us a cheque for £3 towards the cost of the tin.

Brilliant and Thank you to you for going above and beyond the call of duty!!!
We had a box of QS given to us at work by a kindly old lady.I remember now my colleague saying'what's a yorky bar doing in this box?'So we all had a huge discussion as to who made yorkies and yes we discovered it was nestle.
Personally I like the pink fudge one and there were none left by the time my hand delved into the box.
Maybe the kindly old lady could give us a bottle of wine each next year!!!!
    Seems fair enough!!!!00000022.gif

no, in a bid to make nestle chocolates suitable for all they have removed all traces of nuts, or maybe not! I hope somebody at Nestle reads this thread so they can take some of it onboard otherwise next year there will be a lot of quality street left after christmas.

And still no reply to my email, Cadbury were quicker than this.

I went round to my ex m-i-ls tonight and in an act of pure altruism ate all the yorkies in their tin. I feel great satisfaction in knowing that I have helped my fellow man and if I can be of help to anyone else in this endeavour please don't hesitate to send me any spares.
  • I think we have an unopened tin so must check it

However, we are all missing the point

    which is

The general decline in QS over the past few years as they have tried to price match Celebrations, which has resulted in a lot more sugar in the QS sweets
