I weighed them and they are the equivalent of about 16 chocolates......... what the hell is going on and why are there Yorkies in my QUALITY STREET BOX... if I wanted damn Yorkies I would of bought a bar... I want my Quality Street chocs back in the box ...
I am determined that if I open the other tin and its the same I am taking it back to Asda on Monday and demand my money back......

We also had Yorkie bars - no orange creams (my son's fav), very few purple ones and only a couple green triangles. This provided much discussion over Christmas and many complaints.... no-one likes Yorkies, I love purple ones, green triangles liked by all of us etc, etc. DH completely mystified by complaints because he doesn't like choccies!! Worse still was that when we spent the day with my brother he had a perfect tin but had eaten all the orange creams
I have emailed Nestle too, as yet no reply0 -
I don't think ANYBODY does coffee creams any more!
I think you're right Dawnylou but THEY SHOULD! The world would be a better place with more coffee creams - well in my house it would anyway.0 -
Sorry for the double post. I have added a picture of the culprit alongside an acceptable and full selection of QS - apologies for the photo but its late in the evening and I'm feeling a bit sick after eating too many chocolates.
As you will see, the Yorkie does not sit well with the others. It looks wrong, it looks uncomfortable... it is odd. No wonder we have suffered such trauma, especially over Christmas.
For convenience (my own) I have sectioned them into LEFT - nice sweets and RIGHT - unpleasant ones. The Yorkie should have been in the middle but I forgot. See how they twinkle
Hopefully this graphic illustration will help those who have not experienced the Yorkie outrage. I had to open another tin to take this photo, hence the self-induced nausea.0 -
tiggertoo your idea of nasty/nice is exactly the opposite to mine ... could we share tins do you think?#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

im quite happy to have yorkies in my tin because you see im a man, and yorkies are only for men, not for girls.!0
-
Give me Yorkies anytime over the cream section - disgusting!!
Anyway, Dr Gillian says we can't have any of them............she'd spoil anyones fun! She said tonight that giving up the 12 deadly sins would make you sexier..........I don't think she practices what she preaches!0 -
Pah what does she know! She has a miserable life eating twigs and grass. There is surely nothing sexier than a woman with chocolate all round her mouth and a tin of QS resting on her stomach!
tanith - you can have the evil nutty ones, they are made by the devil himself who must be the same man who decided that Yorkie was not for girls.0 -

tiggertoo,
I felt a moral obligation to "Thank" you for that post due to the factor that not only had you taken the time to capture an image of the "QS Horror," but you also arranged the choccies to illustrate the point AND you also supplied an annotation...
P.S. You also made youself sick - now that's dedication!"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."
