Quality Street invaded with YORKY BARS

Options
Bought 2 for 9.99 Quality Street tins from Asda but when I was picking my way to the soft toffees today discovered there were 9 individual Yorkies in there........... I weighed them and they are the equivalent of about 16 chocolates......... what the hell is going on and why are there Yorkies in my QUALITY STREET BOX... if I wanted damn Yorkies I would of bought a bar... I want my Quality Street chocs back in the box ...
I am determined that if I open the other tin and its the same I am taking it back to Asda on Monday and demand my money back......

  • Don't forget although your vent is with ASDA and they are responsible for your purchase, it wasnt them who packed the sweets.

Hilarious. Its funny you mention this... a few weeks ago, i was in a lecture at uni and some Quality Street with the Yorkies were going around the room. We too noticed them, and the fact the wrapping of the yorkies don't really match up with the rest of the box. Sooo, in true student style, we decided to take action.

So a mate i was sitting next to called up that number you get on little piece of paper... you know the free 0800 "comments and suggestions" one. The 0800 number in the QS puts you though to the nestle head office, and the person he was talking to was geniunely suprised that someone had bothered to call up!

I was !!!!!! myself at this point. But they had a convo about the new yorkies and the packaging etc, and apparently some people at nestle were thinking the same!

Since its a free number, and you don't sound to happy... you at least have the option of calling up and voicing your horror  :snow_laug:

You cant give in to these things, ok its a small matter but before you know your freedom of speech has been denied and then the government starts experimenting on your family with drugs.

Yorkies have noe been included in Quality Street. They are only mini bitesize bars and actually taste rather nice!

  • In work last week I was more offended about the Yorkie wrappers than the fact that they were in there. Not for girls indeed!

We dont want to eat your rubbishy yorkie bars anyway Mr QS! :p

My daughter(6 years old) thought she wasn't allowed to eat them as it says on them 'not for girls' grrr !!!

The yorkies are in there as a trial , there should be a small piece of paper in with them to explain that nestle are considering including 'chocolate chunks' the the quality street so they have included some yorkies and are looking for peoples opinions
