might be a stupid question but do you have to travel back the same day? I tried going there one day and coming back the next and it didn't accept it on the website so I tried coming back the same day and it worked. But would it be worth it?0

If it is advertised as a day trip you have to come back to same day.The Very Right Honourable Lady Tarry of the Alphabetty thread-I just love finding bargains and saving moneyI love to travel as much as I can when I canLife has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters0

By scrolling through the depature times we could cross one way for £12 but that was prior to 05.00 or thereabouts and as we would be a 2 hour drive from the port we didn't think this practical. We never found the correspnding return time at £12.
On balance this is a typical smoke and mirrors offer from the consumate masters of the art.
Better and much more straightforward is the current offer from Seafrance. £12.50 each way on a range of sailings at civilised times. No crate of wine and no BOGOF on meals but who cares compared to £140.00 I can buy the wine, pay for the dinner and still come home wi't fare fo't bus.
I stuck in my date of choice, and the first fares I saw were both £12 each leg - so I think i'm gonna book - maybe I was just lucky. Thats with a 745 leaving ferry and a return at 9pm0 -
