Just to mention that the cheap P&O crossing via the Daily Mail link mentioned above is still available.. booked it this morning! At the second attempt.. ropy website, P&O, you have to persevere :j
If what I said helped you, please "Thank" the relevant post. It cheers me up somewhat..
  • Just tried to get a price on a trip in November. Site says that no price is available for the trip?
  • just to let you know, I called the center as i couldn't get the offer to work online. The customer adviser was very helpful, she booked my day trip for 28th November for £24 as stated in the offer with vouchers for wine and bogof breakfast.

The link to th P&O ferry crossing offer doesnt work can anyone help with this?

Just go straight to their website!

    https://www.poferries.com

The website did go down yesterday evening and I phoned to book and got the same deal - £24 rtn including wine and BOGOF offer - and got the times I wanted as well. Don't use the 0871 number - there's an alternative on saynoto0870.

    Hope you get sorted :)

Sorry - I just realised I've replied to a message from January :) The last part still stands though - if you're having problems on the PO website, give them a ring. This applies to most other companies as well - they usually have the discretion to apply the "web only" offers even if done over the phone, in my experience.

  • Booking Norfolk Line Dover to Dunkirk via the Caravan Club has some great rates.

    August 2010 return - £71 instead of £168
    August 2010 Car - £51 return
    May 2010 Car + Caravan - £51 return

I just booked up a daytrip on 14th November, but have yet to be emailed the vouchers. Do they come straight away?
  • We planned to use the P&O offer recently mentioned on this site but the outcome was very disappointing. Today's price is nearer £140 not the £20 odd as advertised. By scrolling through the depature times we could cross one way for £12 but that was prior to 05.00 or thereabouts and as we would be a 2 hour drive from the port we didn't think this practical. We never found the correspnding return time at £12.

On balance this is a typical smoke and mirrors offer from the consumate masters of the art.

Better and much more straightforward is the current offer from Seafrance. £12.50 each way on a range of sailings at civilised times. No crate of wine and no BOGOF on meals but who cares compared to £140.00 I can buy the wine, pay for the dinner and still come home wi't fare fo't bus.

I tend to get a reply straight away when I've booked in the past with my booking confirmation and number. Have you checked spam? When I got my deal for my cheap day trip I booked through the promotion link.
