Does anyone know of any cheap deals coming up for P&0 ferries for foot passengers next month? I've been sent an offer for £2 fares but it's only Monday - Thursday and I'd be travelling on a Saturday.

Hi all,

Im looking at booking the crossing etc for July, couple of questions if please could help me...

1, How long is it to Disneyland Paris once off the boat in France.

2, Do you get a free Park ticket or not?

The whole subject of ferry fares is a scam.

Whether one stays in (say) France for an hour or 14 days, the service provided by the ferry company is exactly the same. They charge more for a long stay because punters willingly pay without a fuss. The other week they even charged a Tenner to change a ticket. Quite how a couple of taps on a keyboard can cost a Tenner is a mystery. :mad:

The only company offering a fair deal was Speedferries. Sadly the "Pirates" hounded SF out of business.

It is up to us to make the ferry companies aware of our displeasure at their pricing scams in the hope they will perhaps be fair and reasonable to their customers.

yes, you get 1 free hopper ticket per booking

it's approx 3 hours drive from Calais - Disneyland !

Would it not be possible to take this offer and not use the return journey? ie use it as a cheap ferry to France and then just book a return ticket with a ferry company for the end of a two-week holiday? Or am I being a bit dim?
