Found another deal on FERRYSAVERS.CO.UK, 24 hr return trip from Dover to Dunkerque with Norfolkline, just £19 (car + 4 passengers), cheaper than going anywhere in UK, I'm going to France!!!!

I used this voucher site I found by google (and checked on here), and managed to get £20 off and it booked through the P&0 site for my Saturday trip, so instead of £90, I got it for £70.

Life has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters
  • Just booked to go over to France for a week over New Year, costing £104 return plus £2.59 Mastercard fee (would have been £1.00 booking fee with a debit card). Found the most competitive comparison site in my case was Ferrysavers - nice and easy to use, too.

My one worry is that there were only options for Child (0-18) and Adult (27-54). The ages of our group are 4, 23, 25, 30, 57 and 59. So potentially 4 of us fall into the no-man's-land of age brackets... :S

There is a new deal on until 31st of october with a free bottle of wine
    details here http://www.poferries.com/tourist/content/pages/krn.html?CID=krn
It's £3 for foot passengers, £19 for a day trip with a car and £17 for an afternoon trip. There are some days that are not available and a supplement for saturday travel, see the site for more info

Edit - I think the free bottle of wine may have ended but the sailing offer is still on

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place but I think you need to remind your readers, Martin, that the current French strike may cause problems especially with the shortage of fuel for cars, etc.

DO you *have* to use both legs of the journey? It looks like it's cheaper for me to book a day return for the outbound leg of my journey and not use the return , then get another single for the return leg a few days later

If you dont use the return half of the ticket when you should (on a cheap day return) you will be charged the FULL rack rate for the one way trip.
