It depends if you have access to transport over here,
if so you get a family member here to do a day trip to pick you up then another one to drop you offIMOJACAR

They get very stroppy if you buy two deals with two different ferry operators and try to use half of each.
They have probably got the credit card number!!!!!
There was a big fuss a few years ago when UK bangers cost money to dispose of - lots did their final journey to France and became the problem of the mayor of Calais.
I have seen a clause that says the vehicle has to be empty on the journey out to France but I doubt the clerk at 07:00 in the gloom is going to notice anything unless the vehicle is groaning with luggage.
I once had to turn up in a different car from the one booked; explained that my mate had been taken sick (true) so instead of two of us in an estate car, there was just me in a normal saloon.
Have you tried all the operators and the bucket shop sellers for cheap singles? Now that the Danish catamaran has gone out of business and the chunnel seems to be financially stable again; I expect the cartel is back in operation.0 -
Has anyone had any issues booking? I have gone from the link and am getting a quoted price of £35 and am leaving uk at 9am and returning at 9pm on same day?:mad:0

I had no problem with the link, I put a dummy booking for the 16 March 2011 and got it for £9.50 each way (and that included one of the journeys being on the new ferry), coming to £19.00
I think it put it on at leaving at around 8.30 and coming back at 7pm or something. I was trying something out for something.

Well done
I don't think I am going to get a cheap deal for when I want to go, 16 April
But I'll see what I can do.
I'm silly, I was getting all this stupid prices coming up when doing it before, but it turns out only day trips can only be booked 60 days in advance...The Very Right Honourable Lady Tarry of the Alphabetty thread-I just love finding bargains and saving moneyI love to travel as much as I can when I canLife has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters0 -
the link doesn't appear to work either from this site or on the P & O site to be able to book this. Anyone with any ideas?0
