Looks like a reasonable deal - how long are you going away?

You might get a better offer in January as the sales war heats up after Xmas.

By playing with time of day/day of the week and avoiding popular weeks such as Easter/half term/big sporting occasion etc. you might get a better price.

Have you tried all 3 or 4 or 5 (what is the position of LD lines this summer to Bolougne? - you are unlikely to get a bargain basement offer from the tunnel)

Have you googled and checked the "bucket shops", no sales director wants to demonstrate that his line is desperate for more traffic and does not want to upset his "loyal" book in advance customers, so discounts may be filtered out via the "bucket shops/consolidators".

Its work getting a quote from Thomas Cook as we did this last year in our campervan to France and got return tickets beginning of August for about £60 and to go through P&O direct it was going to be around £140 return. I think they must have a deal with P&O which enables them to get cheap tickets......:j

Hi All.

Has anyone tried buying a day return and just using one half of it? I need a one-way ticket and the day return on the eurotunnel is cheaper than a one way. I guess it wouldnt be a problem if its a one off but do they keep records of people who dont use the return part of the day return?

Book on 10 or 11 June for travel up to 18 December 2013, and a car and up to 4 people can travel to France from only £28 each way!
