I tend to travel with P&O ferries and if you book early enough you can get it for about £15 each way (some crossings show up as £10), bearing in mind the earlier you book the cheaper it will be (or that's what I found).
That's what I paid midweek in June (this coming June)The Very Right Honourable Lady Tarry of the Alphabetty thread-I just love finding bargains and saving moneyI love to travel as much as I can when I canLife has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters0 -

Slim chance, but does anyone know if P&O ferries will do a wine deal in February? I know it could be a stupid question, I'm aware of that, just pondering whether to book soon to go over for the day in February or wait til later and risk getting higher prices. It's only a midweek day, and before half term, but was wondering. I always book early to make sure I get good dealsThe Very Right Honourable Lady Tarry of the Alphabetty thread-I just love finding bargains and saving moneyI love to travel as much as I can when I canLife has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters0

If is looking like after Xmas there could be an increase in French beer prices - they might be driving the booze cruisers business into Belgium, to join the tobacco sales?
The competition is hotting up again now that the "subsidised" loss making Sea France has passed away and the ships have been redistributed, mainly to Eurotunnel.
[There is a fuss about this but I think Eurotunnel is trying to protect its premium prices by having a bargain basement offer for the cheap end of the market. - like BT & Plusnet in the phone-broadband market.]
Expect more special offers especially after Xmas as the "cartel" tries to establish a pecking order again.
