Just realised that I am currently sitting looking at a foot high santa sitting in my living room, its been here for about 2 weeks already. My gran bought it for me and I can't bear to put him away until the rest of the decorations come out. I have had some weird comments from friends when they come in.
Well its a start, only 2 weeks or so to go...... hee hee:D:xmassmileExcited about Christmas 2009:xmassmile

lol I love christmas but putting the decs up isn't allowed to be done until december. I took my youngest in to Tesco the other day & they had their christmas tree up. She loudly exclaimed "oh mummy what a lovely christmas tree but somebody needs to tell them it isn't christmas yet" lol. The cashier just started laughing & said "well she does have a point". I might be organised with regards to my presents etc but christmas isn't until december. The decs stay up til we have our 2nd christmas on the earliest convenient day in jan lol by then I'm just itching to take the decs down because it looks so clean.
Tree is real & I'm sooo glad. It took me 7 years to get hubby to agree to a real one & even he confesses to loving it now. I had wanted real since I was a child lol.
Hugs

We normally put them up about 17th/18th Dec. My work place(I work for a major supermarket chain,<not Tesco>), and they put their ones up on Monday, which is far too early. :jLike good food and drink?
Try Hotel Chocolat and Baileys.

I know it's way early, but we're putting ours up on saturday
Last year was our first year here in this house, and we were feeling decidedly festive! So we decided to put them up in the middle of November. It was our best Christmas EVER, feeling-festive-wise! :T
And saturday is mine and the OH's anniversary, so we figured why not put the decs up and make a day of it? Everyone has said to us we're stupid, and we should wait until December. But i figure - they don't have to live with us, we love it, and it's doing no one any harm... just making us happier!
I'm so excited!! :j When do you put yours up?Like good food and drink?
