Sunday the 30th november. I'm so excited and cant wait for the day to arrive. The inside of the house looks so much nicer, warmer and more welcoming. Have bought a few Christmas decorations and cards today0

I'm putting up our decorations on December 1. Go with whatever suits you. After all, it is now past Halloween and Bonfire Night with no other major celebrations till Christmas (except Thanksgiving, if you're American) - the shops apparently don't care so why should you?0

Generally the weekend before Xmas, but this year we have a house-full of guests for that weekend, so will have to either do them a weekend early or during that week, so they are up by 19th when everyone arrives - bit early for me really!!!!The best advice you can give your children: "Take responsibility for your own actions...and always Read the Small Print!"

I think I'll do mine on the 3rd, as I have a day off then!
My christmas tree is never up till a week before as we get a real one, I hated that everyone else had their tree up before I did when I was younger....but now I enjoy waiting for it, going to pick it and coming home to a house smelling of the tree! It's brilliant:xmastree:Christmasaholic and proud! :xmassmile0 -
