Me too. and I know how you feel.

Im sure IS wont just pay you again as in their eyes they already have paid you. They wont reverse a payment to then pay into a new account. Plus they wouldnt do it instantly.

Im not sure what advise I can offer apart from as others have said, ask to borrow from a friend or family member. If you cant do this then I think you are stuck. You may need to go via the crisis loan route.

In the past I have phoned market traders out of the paper who buy second hand goods. Toys/baby clothes/ bric-a-brac etc. Have you got a local free ad paper?

Do you have anything you can sell on a cheap buy it now on Ebay for collection only?Or your local gumtree site you may be able to offer items for sale.

    Good luck to you.

Thank you for your nice reply. Your post reminded me that I tore out an advert in a local magazine about a company that will buy 2nd hand baby things and I have a pushchair that I could maybe get even £10 for. Thanks again.

The oiginal error is yours because you failed to manage your finances and thus had to change accounts. Looking at your previous posts, you need some lessons on money management.

I also don't actually believe you have nothing that can be pawned/sold etc to raise some funds.

The bank account was my husbands only, not mine! I didn't have a bank account until this new one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would you like me to take a picture of every room in my house so you can find something to pawn because I sure as hell can't think of anything!

    Resorting to insults now? Nice.

And quite honestly Bozo (suitable name there!) if you have nothing better to do than search peoples previous posts, you need a hobby.

Quite honestly, it is clear from this and other posts that you are an extremely aggressive person, not prepared to help yourself in any way, shape or form. You prefer to run for a computer (that is apparently too old to sell or pawn but runs the internet OK), pay for internet access and whinge. A lot.

Get on with it love. Good luck to you. God knows you need it with your attitude.

    Hello Boppy.

    You can't manage your money.
The state pays you because you don't work. (For whatever reason)
The state provides you with a home (For whatever reason)

You can't handle the fact that you have been at fault here for not managing your money.

Then you insult the very people TRYING to help you.

Please help yourself, because I won't anymore.

    Bozo

Excuse me for breathing! I came on here asking for advice not a break up of my personality and financial circumstances and people claiming I don't care about my family, of course I am going to be defensive. Isn't this site for advice???? (hence running for the computer!) Yes it runs the internet fine which I get free with my landline, nothing special but allows me to go online! Whinging??? Would you whinge if you had no money to feed your family????? I think so!!!!

My attitude, are you having a laugh? What about your oh so perfect bloody attitude, get a grip, some people make mistakes in life and need help.

A crisis loan is also all I can think of to help your current situation (Whatever problems you have to overcome, the kids come first). Obviously the issues regarding your partners old account etc. need to be dealt with as soon as you both can,

but I guess that isn't helping your current problem, something for the future I suppose.

Please direct me to your post where you did help me? I think you'll find you found this thread the perfect excuse to be rude and judgemental to someone who needs advice. I just don't get how income support paying the wrong account is my fault!

Thank you Andys. Yes none of the judgemental replies are helping the situation at the moment, our finances are a lot better than they were and we are hoping that once my illness has stabilised and my husband not been my full time carer that we can tackle them.

Ftr the very pc I am typing on is 7 years old, runs like a brick, wouldn't be worth a penny to anyone but me, and it is perfectly possible to get free internet through talk talk, so get down off that high horse before you fall and hurt yourself
