Had my second email early today. Very straight forward procedure. I had cash ISA's with Icesave and as I understand it, my balance is being refunded to my nominated account (which is my regular current account) by BACS with a certificate following in a couple of weeks from HM Government which confirms the money's ISA status when I reinvest it with the new provider.

I always wait for the green man -as they do in Germany and Switzerland -

hopefully these "idiots" will stop clicking the initiate button until reciece the second -mail

  • Apparently if you click on the initiate claim button before you've received your 2nd email it zeroes your balance.

Also your teeth will fall out and your kids will disown you.

Nothing wrong with Germans and Swiss following rules to the letter......but we are in a free thinking....adventurous society.....and sometimes ....adventurers come unstuck. No one will lose the right to their money for clicking away at their own computer keyboard. Delay in payment, perhaps. But that is all part of embarking on an adventure.

Not yet received 2nd email
Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.

If you click the initiate link before you receive the second email you will lose the winning lottery ticket you never bought!

I can confirm Icesave depositors will be compensated randomly. A friend of mine owns a haberdashery next to the FSCS head offices, the Chief Executive went in the other day and bought 250,000 straws and a pair of scissors. I fear this selection process maybe lengthy.;)

That is not entirely true, he did buy the straws but not the scissors, he already had a pair of official FSCS scissors back in the office!:D They are a bit short of cash at the moment.:D
