Hi yes I agree, (I did just delete my post as I was going to change it), I think the thing is no one knows what the order for payment is and so we all try to speculate.

Congrats to anyone that's had a second email, I for one will be glad when this fiasco is all done and dusted.

Let's not forget the Ticketline website crashed recently with 4000 people trying to buy tickets, it took 11 hours for it to work correctly again, just follow the FSCS instructions, it ain't rocket science is it ?

Do the FSCSABCDEFG not recommend continually pressing 'initiate' whilst shouting show me the money at the screen?

Alistair bail me out Darling was on the news there saying it should work!

If there is a problem with a stupid initiate link why not just make sure it's not there until it's needing a good pressing!

I suggest that EVERYONE sign onto the Icesave site and click the 'Initiate' button at 7pm this evening. I suspect that it would be very useful for the developers to see how the site copes with the strain.

While we're at it, perhaps we should all do a forum search on MSE at 7:30pm? Can't be too careful.

I imagine that there are quite a few Icesave customers who don't read this forum and have not received their instructions because they have not received their 1st email, if they log onto their account and see the Initiate button, what do you think they will do!

If you have to criticise anybody then I suggest you do so at the FSCS for putting such a button on the site before people are 'allowed' to use it!

It's human nature, you see a button marked "press here to get some money" some folks are going to click it, I expect they know this and it's not a problem!
