Awesome, i haven't received my email, my deposit for a house is in the account, we use the "we want a price reduction becasue we're first time buyers and can move whenever the vendor wants" argument. When the truth is we can move when iceland defrosts my deposit.0

I think I have detected a pattern here from the small number of posters who have received their 2nd email.
The less you have in your Icesave account the more likely you are to get it sooner.
Roll on 4th December. :mad:0 -

"The full payment will be arranged by the FSCS, although HM Treasury (HMT) will in the first instance fund amounts to which depositors are entitled from the DIGF and, if applicable, amounts above the current FSCS limit of £50,000. "
I think it all comes down to how much you have in and which scheme they were covered under.
TBH I don't think they mean it the way you describe, I was confused when I read the email last week but later I felt that it is just explaining about the source of the money, I may be wrong of course but I don't think the order of payment depends on the amount at all, it's just random.0
