Most definitely 1p a minute,but dont forget a min call charge applies of 5p on Bt if you dont get through,hit voicemail etc ,as the clock starts ticking when you hit the Discount Dial announcement.

I called storey mobile 07744588888 no. using 08448616464 and then dialed international number. i went through with no problem and very clear voice. but dont know would i be charged at 1p/m or more. any replies welcome!!

I have not any web site for story mobile but when u dial that number the message says WELCOME TO STORY Mobile , so thats how i know, and i am only a money saver.

Why not if you are dialling a 1p 0844 number thats all you pay.Irrespective of where the call ends up.

Whats so special about the SF numbers you mention a lot. Surely if itworks to one,it will work to all.

I called my landline supplier to check that how much they charged me for dialling that 0844 Number and then 07744 no. but she said i have to wait till friday 13-1-06 because their system is 2 days behind, so i shall give them a call again tomorrow to check how much they charged me for 10 minute call to 0844 number

Any number you dial once connected to the 0844 861.. number will not affect the charge to your landline.

If it lets you connect to 07744 974 363 then you will still be charged at your providers standard 0844 861 (g8) rate.

I've just tried to use the 0844 721 2525 number for a UK call and was told by the automated voice that I had to dial a new number = 0844 896 2525 for UK calls at 3p per minute. I've checked the website and it now lists the UK as 3p per minute. Their cheap 1p rate did not last long! But 3p is quite cheap compared with dialing a mobile without a prefix code.
