Disappointed
Calls from landline to mobile are now my most expensive phone expense, so was really keen for this to work.
Tried it out a dozen times, when calling my mobile I get the fax tone as reported earlier in this thread and when calling my wife's phone get nothing but silence.
Both phones T-Mobile.
And in both cases have added the international code (0044) minus the 0 of the mobile number.
Any other services out there?0 -
Anyone know how to program my orchid dailler to automaticaly convert the mobile number I dial into the international format required?0

We are with Just dial and 1899 for our telephone.
Will we be charged 1p a minute by Just dial?0 -
Matrix_Keeper i have used it to call both Orange and O2 Mobiles from BT Landline today worked ok, did you put * at end of number.eg 00447891011xx*
1p rate ends in New Year anyway!
Have you tried https://www.18185.co.uk 5p a minute weekdays, 2p weekends 4p connection.
Thistleboon yes you can use it.Not sure what JDS charge to call 0844.So put call through BT by using 1280 override service.PF.0 -

I tried a call through Just Dial and it came up as 4p charge for a 56 second call... not sure how much it would be for a longer call....0 -

Cheers, didn't realise there was an override service for BT....0 -
Like Matrix_Keeper, I just got silence after dialling a mobile (Orange), so am disappointed as that has cost me 5p for a call that didn't go through. And before anyone asks, I followed the instructions and dialled the full international number with a * at the end.0

Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
