Phew, just caught up! Not sure what to do with myself tonight, guess DH will finish work soon so we should be able to watch something together (currently watching our way through coast series 2). I also have a pile of coppers and 5ps which i might count - might pay for a coffee at the least!

I’m not currently studying, I was doing a phd but I’ve suspended it and doubt I’ll return to it to be honest, heart’s not in it anymore! I’d like to do some kind of work related qualification, maybe something in health promotion, but I don’t want to do much work for it!

Johanne – I got my hair cut 2 weeks ago for the first time since april!

Valli – hope all is ok?

Natty – what a shock for you (never mind your friend) glad you could support her

    AnW’s mum - :D fantastic pics :j

Soappie – sounds like good news about your work.

Gryfon – that teacher should def have a word in their ear

Kazm – good news – we all just need to work on them not being grumpy in the first place :rotfl:

  • Well, so far it's not been a spectacular first attempt from me! :o I was expecting to have the afternoon free after I finished work, but I got dragged to an architectural salvage yard to find a fireplace instead! By the time we were back and I'd walked the dog, done the shopping, made dinner.....:o

So sorry I can't reply to you all but time is limited and I need to do some flying.........have spent the time since arriving home this evening, preparing an exam paper for yr 13 and a 9 page revision guide for yr 12. Still need to download some tv adverts I got from youtube for my yr 11 lesson tomorrow and then I must get on with today's list. Wish me luck.....
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

oh dear. I used to get very worried about missing the silence when leading a remembrance service. I actually used to switch on the radio in the service at about 10.55am which worked really well as people felt connected to the main service at the cenitaph in London and it was taken out of my hands. slightly odd that they were then going to observe the silence today when tomorrow is 11/11

  • Hi,

Hope everyone is well and welcome newbies/returners. So far this evening I've done laundry, washed up, emptied bins, attended residents meeting, spent time with DH and done errands. Goodnight
