  • In general, I'm not doing too bad with my flyladying. But Mondays are a disaster for me. I always have so many other things to do after the weekend.
Is it always the kitchen on Mondays or do the jobs swap about from week to week?
Do I need to ignore another day's list and do Monday's jobs then instead?
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D
  • Hi :hello:

Not done much flying today cos DS's at home. We've been busy doing lots of singing and dancing  and this afternoon we managed to go out for his 2yr check & to collect his bookstart bag. My legs are really killing me now though because we had to walk to another site to collect the bag cos they'd run out

I checked my online bank earlier and noticed that I'd earned quite a bit of interest on my savings account this year (goes in 31st Oct), so I'm :j:D. I've got a nice amount building up for when I [strike]hopefully[/strike] eventually leave X. It's sooo annoying being stuck here with him and he's really getting on my nerves

Just got to go through my MrT order tonight and I'll do the kitchen, dining room, living room & playroom tomorrow when DS is at nursery.

Monday Marvels - kitchen and dining room
    Clear and wipe work surfaces

    deweb these rooms
    clean fridge, kettle & toaster
    wipe table
Clean out your grottiest cupboard!! It doedn't need to be like that

Tuesday Twinkles - Living Room & Playroom
    Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean all glass.. including the tv screen
Clear the mantel and only put back the items which are supposed to be there.. and that doesn't include letters, keys or other treasure!

    My List
S&S kitchen: [strike]Mon[/strike] Tue Wed Thu Fri
    WM: Tue Thu
    TD: Tue Thu
5 a day: Mon:5 Tue: Wed: Thu: Fri:
    Baking
    [strike]MON - DS's 2yr check 3:30pm[/strike][strike]
    Online banking
Double check MrT Order for Tue[/strike]
    MrT delivery 7-9pm
    THU - Occ. Therapy 11am

    See ya ((hugs))

It's usually the kitchen or the living room.
You could do what I do and cheat on a Sunday and do a Level 1/2 on the kitchen.;)Ready for Monday.

    Whoa...
stop the world - I want to get off now...
Got to work in good time..set up classroom, PC and projector. Called away to discuss pressing IT prob with another teacher came back to find 5 MINUTES BEFORE SCHOOL that THE PROJECTOR had BLOWN. And ALL MY prepped lessons were for the interactive white board...aaagh.

Then came home to find tea had been cooked (cottage pie made yesterday for DS and DDs tea) bit left - thought I would have it...collected plates to find 1 - turns out DD who adores cottage pie had eaten almost all of it while her brother, unfed played on the playstation! Gave him what was left plus some cabbage...

    Words have been said...

    Anyhow, rant over, I'm fed (don't ask!:rotfl:)

Gosh haven't you all been busy...

    Here's my twopennorth then, FWIW...
He's going to have to go to the vets as we have been trying for over 6 months to sort him - we keep cutting lumps of matted fur (basically also lumps of poo) out of his belly and leg fur. Not helped as he has his disabled leg, and his kidney problem.

He has been dragging his back legs along the floor, and has in recent weeks pee'd in the babys car seat and in my pantry, and everywhere he sits smells.

I know this sounds awful BUT you have to put your boys first...and this cat isn't having a great time of it anyway...I had to give my cat away because she was too old to cope with babies...That's what I can never understand about these families who keep large aggressive breeds of dogs when there are young children and babies. Cruel to the dogs IMHO

Thanks for motivating me so far, I've been flying for a few years with the US flylady but this thread is much much better.
    Welcome Zaza (How's Hector?)
I bet Pigpen will have been pleased to read that.
Oooh, what was that for Valli??? Did I do something good???
Course you did (not that I can remember:rotfl: ) something on the old thread mayhap?
Valli - that sounded some ding-dong - I'd have been tempted to rip the baggage's throat out!
I quite enjoyed it...sheeshh...I cannot stand to see people picked on;)

Valli - I did drop in for a visit on the other thread, and I'm so glad you "dealt" with the obnoxious individual over there. Totally unnecessary and inappropriate. People come on MSE for help, advice and support, not criticism and put-downs! Well done, girl. :T
I'm glad that was how it looked...I think it's so petty how people respond sometimes - as has been said people post for advice and support. I personally don't think the interent should be used for what would be considered if done face to face, at best downright bad manners and at worst, bullying.

Righto. Off to read the rest now...

    Evening all

    Since I finished work I've

    Picked kids up
    Been to the library
    Come home
    Cooked tea
    Ate tea
    Caught up with the thread!

    So nothing really productive.

AnW's mum - DD has emailed Miss A - and she looks great - haven't shown DD the photos yet.

Soappie - that sounds good on the work front.

Pink Fairy - it sounds like they really want you to work for them even if you didn't get that particular job.

Natty - huge hugs for you and and your friend.

Gryfon - I wanted to see the photos too! I would have said something about the detention - way too harsh!

Johanne - hope you have a wonderful night out.

Summer - hope your bathroom gets sorted soon.

I'm bound to have forgotten somebody.

    Hugs to all
