  • Oh, and was reading the 'lest we forget' thread in the Arms and found a link which meant I could get this

  • BTW - no one 'fessed to sending Gremlins and I still can't find my anti-scale cartridges!

Picked DS up from work earlier and the chap from the next unit (who is going to move in where DS is and share - long story) came and asked for a word. I thought "oh oh". Should have known I'm wonderful. He told me I had brought up a lovely lad and it's a pleasure to know him.

Then DD went to stay with her friend at said friend's Grandma's house for the weekend - and Grandma kept telling her what a lovely girl she was. (My mother adored her and she really misses Granny)

So please can I have a pat on the back coz I must have done something good - and yes, I am taking most of the credit as DH has been away so often with Army, TA, Cadets and work!:p

Oh well, I think I might have an early bath if DS decides to stop drowning himself, then I'm up for a bit of repair work on DD's jacket and my puffball quilt, and perhaps a little knitting.

Thanks all re big girl, I've made a thing about changing the date and if the teacher dares say anything I shall be right down there! Or at least phoning to have a word.

It was the church 100 club draw as well and Miss A drew out Daddy's number and won £50, how cool is that. Told her that it was Daddy's way of telling her how proud he is too.
Like others I think so too...she looked fab.
Week two and I still feel like I'm making progress!

Hubby cleaned up the work surfaces this morning before he went to work,
You're not kidding - you've roped in some staff :rotfl:

Well my list looks like this now:
    [STRIKE]S&S Bathroom and Kitchen
    Make bed
    Set WM/hang out/put away[/STRIKE]

Monday Marvels - kitchen and dining room
Clean out your grottiest cupboard!! It doesn't need to be like that
Empty and clean out your bins!

    Interval training
    [STRIKE]Renew membership[/STRIKE]
    Translation
    Tax work
    Answer GenesReunited query
    Dig empty patches
    Clean polytunnel (outside)
    Protect patio plants

So not too bad, and I also managed to finally put down squares of insulating stuff that go on top of our ceramic tiles in winter. Not sure how much they help but the tiles get so cold this time of year so it seems like a good idea . Made some muffins too and have had chicken with ham and mushroom sauce for dinner.
Bath time now, hope you all have a good evening xx
