Right, I've sort of caught up. Skim reading only here. I'm shattered so I'm off to bed. I'll be having a blue charge (asda red bull ;) ) tomorrow at breakfast & taking in one for my lunch as well at this rate.

Best I get some sleep now, I can see me having to give up some of my lunch time to go over some of the stuff I need to do with the class teacher tomorrow afternoon just incase OF***D do come into the class I'm in. :o:o

    Night all

justamum- I have only had to pay about £60 towards my OU courses I am using Tesco clubcard vouchers and (not sure if this is scottish or national) an individaul learning account which gives me £200 towards the cost of learning.

We don't have ILAs here  I'd have to pay full price to do a course. Even doing night school A levels costs over £250 each

Just for info, ILAs stopped in England some years ago following allegations of fraud. Always worth talking to colleges locally though because there are often pots of funding to get women back to work etc, or to get people to move into specific industries - like logistics. A lot of the restrictions around being 25 or under have gone recently so worth looking round.

    HTH

Unfortunately what applies in the UK doesn't usually apply here.

Same here Justamum, we used to get a discount but now we're considered overseas which makes each course a horrendous amount! I shall have to wait till the children are grown and we have money to burn to do another course :(
